Benidorm will host the Cyclocross World Cup once again in 2024

The International Cycling Union (UCI) has revealed the calendar for the next edition of the UCI Cyclocross World Cup. As ocurred a month ago, Benidorm and the Costa Blanca will once again host on January 21st of next year, an important stop of the most prestigious winter cycling tournament. A major prize for an event whose first results had already been very positive.

The first edition of the UCI Cyclocross World Cup – Benidorm Costa Blanca was held last Sunday, January 22nd, and it was an authentic party. Around 13,000 fans from all over Spain and Europe gathered to witness an intense and exciting racing, with the Dutch Fem van Empel and Mathieu Van der Poel conquering the Elite women's and men's events, respectively. The massive attendance of espectators and participants filled the streets of Benidorm with a great atmosphere throughout the week.

What we experienced on January 22nd was not only the first edition of the UCI Cyclocross World Cup – Benidorm Costa Blanca, but also a milestone in our commitment to top-level sports tourism. In addition, it was a tangible demonstration that Benidorm is a first-class venue to celebrate this type of event with all the guarantees. This announcement is the confirmation we were waiting for: Benidorm will host the UCI Cyclocross World Cup also in 2024, and we will continue working on it as we have done up to now.
