The Boca del Calvari Museum inaugurates the exhibition 'Guardians of the Sea. The Caletes Tower'

The Boca del Calvari Museum has inaugurated the exhibition "Guardians of the sea. The Caletes tower". This exhibition has been brought to Benidorm by the Provincial Council of Alicante and the Archaeological Museum of Alicante (MARQ), and is focused on the watchtower les Caletes, from the 16th century.

During the visit to the exhibition the public will be able to see and interact with many materials treated, analysed and classified by the MARQ, which allowed the archaeologists to know how the watchmen who resided in the Caletes tower lived, the clothes they wore, the weapons they used and even their diet.

This display is also complemented by the exhibition "Guardians of stone. The castles of Alicante", in which the main fortifications of the province are toured, including the above-mentioned Caletes tower.
