The landscape restoration of the Paseo de Poniente area will commence next week, involving the renewal and replacement of gardening, with an investment of €48,336.48. The constant use of the gardens within the promenade as a pedestrian passage necessitates the intervention.
The intervention requires various works to condition the areas that have been subjected to vandalism in recent years, such as the breaking of pipes due to bites from dogs or squirrels or the presence of beach sand in the gardens. This is because many bathers wash their feet in the garden areas and due to the incessant dust from the beach sand.
Decorative artificial grass, 25 millimetres high, will be placed on a concrete floor by manually extending rolls glued with 25-centimetre wide tapes and covered with silica sand.
