XXII edition of the L'Illa Swimming Crossing

The 22nd edition of the traditional L'Illa Swimming Crossing will take place on 1st September.

Places are limited and registration to participate will open on Thursday 1st August at 09:00, and must be made through the link https://www.chiplevante.com/es/prueba/2024TRAVBENIDORM-833-2024, and all participants will be obliged to use during the crossing their homologated location buoy.

It is one of the most anticipated events of the summer sports season in Benidorm, organised by the Sports Department in collaboration with the Public Safety, Mobility and Beaches Departments, as well as the Benidorm Sailing Club and collaborating companies.

The test will cover the distance that separates this natural area from the Mal Pas beach, a distance of 2 nautical miles, or 3.6 kilometres.

Bibs will be issued on the day of the race, at the port, from 07:00 to 07:30. The swimmers will board the Swallow at 7.45 a.m. for the transfer to L'Illa, while the crossing will start at 8:15 a.m.
